Open Question: General Child Support Question?!?

My friends and I were having an argument about the below and would like clarification. We are from Adelaide, South Australia. Bob and Sussie were married and had 2 children. Bob and Sussie got divorced. Bob has the children once a fortnight on the weekend and pays child support to Sussie to compensate for the time she has the children. Bob's child support payments are assessed in regards to what he earns which is fine. If Bob is to re marry 2, 3 5 or 10 years down the track to Mary who earns $150,000.00 per year. Will Mary's income then be combined to the Child Support assessment or do only the biological parent pay child support even when one parent re marries?... Read More »
